The Barton Arcade

The Barton Arcade in Manchester is the only Victorian shopping arcade that survives. St. Ann’s Square

St. Ann’s Square in Manchester is a popular place where Mancunians and tourists like to shop and the street is lined with many architecturally splendid buildings, St. Anne’s Arcade is a stunning building and gives an excellent example of Italian palazzo architecture, with semi-circular headed arches and Venetian windows.  You don’t have to visit Italy in your hired motorhome, you can get a  taste of old Italy right in the heart of Manchester with this Grade 2 listed building.
