The Coachbuilt motor home and its popularity

The Coachbuilt or C-Class motor home is very popular in England with motor home fans and for good reason! The Coachbuilt motor home is similar to having a van and a caravan merged into one, the chassis is that of a traditional van with a custom built shell placed on the back. The width of the C-Class motor home is generally slightly wider than a traditional van giving more interior space for features.

Features and sleeping facilities of a Coachbuilt motor home

The Coachbuilt motor homes often have overcab bed and sleeping areas which allows for them to carry a family or a group of friends with ease. Even horizontal beds are possible in a C-Class which can accomodate someone around 6ft tall with ease. The actual interior is of a high quality too with these motor homes due to the custom shell, meaning you will often have the cab integrated with the living area meaning that swivel driving chairs allow you to easily seat a large family with ease.

C-Class motorhomes can be seen all accross England and you will see both homes with the overcab sleeping areas, and without. If your motor home does have an overcab bed you may notice a slightly higher fuel bill due to the reduced aerodynamics but its a trade off depending on how many people are travelling.
