New motorhomes from Bentley for January 2012

Bentley’s motorhome range for 2012

Bentley Motorhomes is a UK manufacturer based in Yorkshire who make quality build motorhomes that are individual and luxurious by design.

Who are Bentley Motorhomes?

Bentley are a relatively new player in the motorhome world, with the company being launced over a year ago. At that time they only had 3 models which were the Cobalt, the Indigo and the Ochre.

So what’s new in the Bentley Range?

Bentley recently announced a brand spanking new motorhome to the Artisan rangecalled the Cerise which the company has been showing around many of the motohome shows this year and will be available for viewings at the NEC.

The Signature range of motorhomes entered the market on February 2011 at the NEC show. Built on the excellent Renault Master/AL-KO chassis and more conventional in size the new motorhome models have proved a success and will remain unchanged for 2012. Bentley motorhomes now also have the six-speed Quickshift automatic option across its range which is a big benefit when choosing a Renault based vehicle.

The new Bentley Artisan Cerise

This new motorhome is big news for Bentley and was the first to feature a rear entrance door.  This is a nicely kitted out and designed motorhome with a spacious facing-sofa lounge that changes easily into a large double bed with a rear corner washroom, a trendy split kitchen and a straight corridor running right from the habitation door to the motorhomes cab.

The Artisan range’s compact dimensions make it one of the best to drive motorhomes on themarket and it is easy to drive for even the worst drivers and back road friendly, however some people feel that the range is a bit too compact.

The new Cerise motorhome helps to solve this problem because of a new rear habitation door which has been added that creates a feeling of more space.  There are plenty of good points to the Cerise and one of the most interesting is the design of the rear corner washroom.  The entire back end of the habitation area is cordoned off by a wall behind the kitchen, The washroom itself is small, but we believe that the layout is workable, and we like the finishes that Bentley have used such as the tile-effect trim.

Finally, most people I have spoken too like the new Bentley Artisan Range and although Bentley are new comers to the motorhome market we think that they have some great ideas and would advise you to have a closer look at what they have to offer.
